This beautiful example of craftsmanship is a credit to the owner. He had the wherewithal to hire nothing but the best car builder and painter we know of (besides Jim's Classic Garage). That’s alright with us, since we didn’t know the owner at the time. Even though we have a great painter onboard here, the man who painted this is a hair above the rest. Anyone looking for the highest level of restoration in the Pacific NW would want Keith Russel of Seabeck, Washington to paint their custom car. Look at the paint up close, and you will notice the glass look.

When my client caught wind of the car being built, he quickly decided to buy it and change the color. They started on the undercarriage. The color now sits on three surfaces. The frame, the dash, steering wheel and column, plus the firewall. The color of the dashboard and all inside hard surfaces are “Cloud Mist by Ford." Everything else is a PPG Single stage Triple black; like a mirror.

We see a lot of cars come through the shop and we talk condition and value every day. A number one condition car is difficult to find. The difference between the number one and number two condition is minute. The details that ding top status are as insignificant as a minor scratch, a missing bolt, wrong parts used, etc. Ironically, a pro golfer I know could be on the regular PGA Tour if it weren’t for the half a stroke he lacks in scoring. Are you kidding? That score keeps him working at Pete’s Golf instead of running crazy with Tiger Woods. I’m going to give this car an honest “Hard number two” for overall condition.

Please review the build sheet below. You will find everything you need to determine your interest.

This car comes with the “Jim’s Personal Guarantee’’ stamp of approval. Simply put, I believe this car is truly as nice as we have indicated and will back it up financially. For those of you who have to travel to get here, you need not worry about being disappointed in the car. If you fly/drive and spend the night and are disappointed with the car because we overstated its condition, and if you walk away without buying the car, I will pay for your airfare/car fare, hotel, meals, and transportation for the one night for both you and your significant other.  Since we are putting ourselves out there for the unscrupulous, we hope that the potential buyer has as much respect for the car as with the process. In other words, serious people only please.

Well, that’s it from me. Take a look at the many many pictures we have taken, read the build sheet below, make a list of questions, then call me at (206) 406-1313. Thank you, Jim.

PS. Please go to our website and read the part about the buying process. While you are there, please sign up for updates from us. Every time we get a new car to list, we send our clients a little flyer on it.

We will ship the 1940’ Ford for free anywhere in the Continental US with a full price offer.  This vehicle comes with "Jim's Personal Guarantee."
